Lived-in blonde or platinum blonde?
Lived-in blonde and blonde balayage keep some of your natural depth at the root, so they grow out softly and you come back every few months. Blonde highlights brighten more evenly from the root.
Platinum is the other end: near-white blonde, toned to cancel yellow. On the menu it's Bleach & Tone, an all-over lift to blonde and then a toner. It's a commitment: plan on roots every four to six weeks, with toner in between.
What your blonde hair colorist looks at first
Before planning blonde, we look at what's on your hair now, what's been lightened before and how healthy it is. Sometimes we test a strand first. Coming from dark hair, going blonde can take more than one appointment, spaced weeks apart. And if a blonde has ended up brighter than you wanted, Tone Down ($350–450) takes it to a richer, deeper shade.
Keeping blonde bright
Blonde turns warmer as the toner fades, usually within four to eight weeks, and a gloss brings the tone back. Your colorist will tell you whether a purple shampoo or a bond-building treatment suits your hair at home.

Questions we hear
Can I get platinum blonde in one appointment? It depends on your starting color, past lightening and your hair's condition. Dark hair may need several appointments.
Should I see a blonde specialist? For a big change, yes. Tell the front desk your starting color and the blonde you want, and they'll book you with a colorist who does a lot of blonde.
Do you offer blonde highlights? Yes. See our highlights page for full, partial and face-framing options.
