Hair color in Beverly Hills.

Our colorists at OLLIN Beverly Hills do balayage, highlights, blonde, all-over color, gray coverage, gloss and color correction, and every color appointment starts with a conversation about your hair. Book online or call (424) 204-9095. We're at 8912 W Olympic Blvd, Tuesday to Saturday.

Our hair color services

Balayage sweeps brightness through the lengths and leaves a softer root, so it can go three to four months between full refreshes. Highlights are placed in foils and can reach right up to the root, as a full head, a partial or just a face frame. If you want to go lighter overall, our blonde work runs from lived-in, beachy blonde to platinum.

Color also does quieter jobs. All-over color and root touch-ups handle gray coverage, or we blend gray in with highlights instead. A gloss brings back shine and tone between appointments. And when color has gone brassy, banded or dark from box dye, color correction is planned around what your hair can take. And if you want more length or volume, hair extensions are matched to your color.

What it costs, and how often you'll come back

All-over color is $150–200. Partial highlights are $400–500, full highlights $500–600, and a face frame $250–350. Bleach & Tone and color correction are priced after a consultation, because they depend on where your hair is starting from.

How often you return depends on the work. New growth comes in at roughly half an inch a month, so all-over color usually needs a root touch-up every four to six weeks. Highlights tend to run six to twelve weeks, and balayage three to four months.

What your hair colorist looks at first

A colorist specializes in hair color. Before anything is mixed, yours looks at your hair's condition, what's been on it before, your skin tone, and how often you want to come in. Nothing is rushed. Your color is planned around what your hair can take. If you've used box dye, had a keratin treatment or lightened before, tell us when you book. It changes what's possible.

The color you were born with

Johnny Ramirez, who founded OLLIN, asks new guests for a photo of themselves at about 12 or 13. It shows the tones your hair had naturally, which is where color that looks like yours begins. See his lived-in color work →
