The most popular haircut, and every 2026 hair trend

The most popular haircut right now is the bob, while long face-framing layers lead for longer hair, according to Glamour's roundup. Below is every 2026 trend, by cut and length. To book a women's haircut ($225–275) at OLLIN Beverly Hills, call (424) 204-9095.

What is the most popular haircut?

The bob is the most popular haircut, led by the Italian bob: a jaw-length cut with a soft, rounded weight line that swings instead of sitting stiff. For longer hair, the most popular shape is long layers that frame the face, such as butterfly layers, where shorter pieces on top fall over longer lengths, and chandelier layers, which step down in tiers. Both lead for the same reason: they keep their shape with little styling. Bring a photo of your version, because a bob at the jaw and one at the collarbone are two different haircuts.

What haircut is trending for 2026?

The haircuts trending for 2026 are the ones that move: soft bobs, airy cloud bobs, lobs and '70s-inspired boho layers. Vogue and Allure both frame the year around low-maintenance shapes and touchable texture rather than stiff, sculpted styling. In the chair that means a stylist takes weight out from inside the cut so the ends swing freely, instead of stacking blunt layers that need a flat blow-dry. If you want one request that covers the trend at any length, ask for soft internal layering with invisible weight removal.

Is long hair or short hair trending in 2026?

Both are trending in 2026: Vogue calls very short hair and very long hair equally in, with a middle option between them. On the short end that means bobs, bixies, a cross between a bob and a pixie, and pixies. On the long end it means dramatic length kept healthy and glossy, usually with face-framing layers so it does not hang flat. The middle ground is the clavi-cut, which grazes the collarbone. Choose by upkeep rather than trend, since short cuts lose their line fastest and need the most frequent trims.

What length hair is in for 2026?

Three lengths are in for 2026: jaw-to-chin, collarbone and long. Jaw-to-chin is where the Italian and French bob live. Collarbone length, the clavi-cut or long bob, is the safest change if you want something new and still want to tie your hair back. Long hair stays current when it has shape, with layers that start around the cheekbones or chin. If you are torn between two lengths, start with the longer one. A stylist can always take more off at a follow-up visit, but cannot put length back.

What are the latest hair styles for ladies in 2026?

The latest hairstyles for women in 2026 are the Italian and French bob, the cloud bob, the collarbone lob, '70s boho layers and long hair with soft face-framing pieces. The thread through all of them is ease: hair that looks finished with little styling, a high-shine finish and natural movement instead of tight curls or poker-straight ironing. Color follows the same idea. Lived-in color, the technique OLLIN founder Johnny Ramirez coined, grows out softly without a hard line at the root, so neither the cut nor the color runs on a strict calendar.

What are the hair trends for 2026?

The hair trends for 2026 come down to three things: low-maintenance shape, a healthy high-shine finish and natural movement. For cuts, that means bobs and lobs coming back alongside '70s boho layers. For color, it means glossy, dimensional shades that grow out gently, such as milky and mocha brunettes, refreshed with a gloss between bigger appointments. The aim is hair that still looks good weeks after the appointment, not only on the day you leave the chair.

What's the most attractive haircut?

The most attractive haircut is the one that suits your hair type and face shape, which is why style surveys never settle on a single winner. The cuts that rank well again and again are classic bobs, textured or curly cuts that work with natural texture, and, for men, taper fades. Our guide to bangs and face shape covers how to match a cut to yours, and a consultation settles it in minutes.

What is the 67 hair cut?

The 67 haircut is a viral TikTok and Instagram meme trend tied to rapper Skrilla's song "Doot Doot (6 7)", not a classic salon cut. It usually takes one of two forms: a low taper fade with the numbers 67 shaved into the side, or "ice cream hair", a fluffy, piled-up top over shorter sides. If you like the shape without the joke, ask for a low taper with a soft, textured top, which reads as a polished men's haircut once the numbers are gone.

How much does a Korean perm cost?

A Korean perm typically costs $80 to $300 or more at US salons, and roughly 100,000 to 300,000 won, about $75 to $230, in South Korea. The price moves with hair length, the perm technique and the salon's location. A Korean perm aims for soft, loose waves rather than tight ringlets, which is why it fits this year's movement-first look. Perms do not appear on our published Beverly Hills menu, so call (424) 204-9095 before you book one.

A women's haircut at OLLIN Beverly Hills is $225–275, a men's haircut is $100–125, and every cut includes a blow-dry and style. Call (424) 204-9095 or book a cut.
